Keith L. Acton

Keith L. Acton, 75, of Frankfort, passed away Friday, June 23, 2023, at his home.

He was born Sept. 14, 1947 in Frankfort, the son of the late George and Ellen Roll Acton.

On July 16, 1970, he married the former Valerie J. Lowman.

Keith was a 1965 graduate of Frankfort High School. He worked as a farmer and also as an insurance adjuster for Farmers Mutual Hail Insurance Company. He was a member of the Joseph Ellsworth White Post 483 Frankfort American Legion. Keith enjoyed spending time with his family and his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Valerie Acton of Frankfort; three sons, Evan (Penny) Acton of Chillicothe and Kyle (Sarah) Acton and John (Heather) Acton, both of Washington Court House; eight grandchildren, Candice, Elizabeth, Emily, Madison, Eli, Joseph, Samuel and Aubrey; three step-grandchildren, Aerial Stansberry, Keirra Stansberry and Desmond Clark; one step-great-grandchild, Owen Henson; one sister, Beverly (Bernie) Rutherford of Frankfort; one brother, Mike (Dianna) Mace of Bainbridge; and one sister-in-law, Vicki (Ken) Wilkinson of Waverly.

He was preceded in death by one daughter, Emily Jane Acton.

A funeral for Keith will be held Monday, July 3, 2023 at 1 p.m. in the Ebright Funeral Home, Frankfort with Tim Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort, where military honors will be accorded. Family and friends can visit with Keith’s family Monday at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.
