John F. Williams Jr.

John F. Williams Jr., 58, of Greenfield, passed away Saturday, June 17, 2023 at Mineral Springs Lake Resort of Peebles.
 
He was born Dec. 14, 1964 in Greenfield, the son of John and Evelyn (Everhart) Williams.
 
He loved hunting, fishing and camping, and most of all he loved spending time with his family. John was employed at Candle-lite in Leesburg for the past 25 years.
 
He is survived by three siblings, Randy (Viv) Williams of Hillsboro, Janet (Randy) Whaley of Winchester and Debra Williams of Greenfield; special nieces, Gentry Williams of Greenfield and Ameila Pryor of Greenfield; one sister-in-law, Rebecca Williams of Hillsboro; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; and companion, Lisa Joseph of Leesburg.
 
He was preceded in death by one brother, Ricky Williams; and both parents.
 
Funeral service will be Friday, June 23 at 1 p.m. at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield with Roger Fulkerson officiating. Burial will follow in the Gilboa Cemetery near New Petersburg.
 
Visitation will be Friday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
