Joan Loretta Gray

Joan Loretta Gray, 85, of Bainbridge, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 27, 2023 at home.  
 
She was born Oct. 9, 1937 in Greenfield, the daughter of Ralph Moon Sr. and Nellie (Walston) Moon.
 
She was a graduate of Edward Lee McClain High School and was a member of the Fruitdale Community Church.
 
She retired from Sears in Chillicothe after many years of employment.
 
She is survived by two daughters, Teresa (Ron) Maxie of Jeffersonville and April (Kank) Dove of Bainbridge; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Sally Robson of Bainbridge; two sisters-in-law, Laura Kerns of Xenia and Barbara Johnson of Chillicothe; and several nieces and nephews.
 
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence H. Gray, on March 15, 2016; one grandson, Nathan Maxie; two sisters; three brothers; and both parents.
 
Cremation will take place and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
 
Memorial contributions may be made to the Fruitdale Community Church, 11223 S.R. 41 Greenfield, Ohio 45123.
 
The Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield is serving the family.
