NOAA reports magnetic north is moving

NOAA, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, has recently reported that “magnetic north” is shifting by unprecedented distances and has moved past the Greenwich Mean Line.
NOAA, known for doctoring temperature data, can surely find a way to wrap this phenomenon into the global warming/climate change drivel.
Why should you care where magnetic north is located? If you own a compass, GPS, or any other device dependent on the earth’s magnetic poles for information, they become inaccurate when magnetic north relocates. For any GPS, and this includes the ones on airplanes and ships critical for navigation, the correction is accomplished in the software.
For compasses and sophisticated maps, it requires a reprinting of the maps to show true north and the declination from Magnetic North for the area the map covers.
The challenge here for NOAA, however, is how to wrap this into the global warming/climate change dialogue and use this information to further modify human’s behavior in the direction desired by the UN and socialist elites.
NOAA is going to have to put on its thinking cap (meaning, doctor the data some more) in order to integrate this information and keep the whole climate scam on track. The Madrid Climate Summit (featuring Time’s person of the year, Greta Thunberg – I wonder why the protesters in Hong Kong were not people of the year instead?), went down in flames.
"I have never seen such a disconnect between what the science requires and the people of the world demand, versus what the climate negotiations are delivering," Alden Meyer, strategy and policy director at the Union of Concerned Scientists said.
The reality is we do not know what the future holds, despite the information available. As I have said many times, the whole climate argument defies logic and is a house built on shifting sands. The intent is to take a minuscule amount of data collected over the last 150 years and interpret it into a worst-case scenario with a certain immediacy of impending doom.
Further, this thesis acts as if humans created this and can do anything about it, if it is happening. The whole thing is a house of cards, a house of cards that tumbled in Madrid this past week.
The only thing for certain is that people and institutions of a certain ideological and financially opportunistic bent have concocted a narrative that is being believed in many corners of the world. The Madrid Summit shows that many are not buying it or are unwilling to play along.
Instead of the Marshall Islands and other small island countries whining about the situation, perhaps it is time for them to realize their ancestors made poor decisions as to where to locate on the earth.
In fact, the most vocal people worldwide seem to be those living near the coasts. Personally, I see these are collectively poor decisions, ones in which I feel no obligation to assist in solving. It’s like New Orleans. Why did we spend any money rebuilding New Orleans? It should have been relocated, at a cost to the people and businesses foolish enough to be there in the first place.
Going back to its founding, the explorers’ engineers told them not to build a settlement there.Now, hundreds of years later, it still exists, and we are still paying for that old and poor decision.
It could be I am already paying for the magnetic north movement. The last transaction I had when in Switzerland on vacation recently was at the hotel at the Zurich Airport. There was a fee of 2.90 Swiss Francs called an “Environmental Fee.” I asked for an itemization of what this covered. It was not provided. The clerk stared at me blankly.
So, who knows, perhaps my responsibility, my fair share of the cost of the movement of Magnetic North was already included.
