The Hillsboro Rotary Club recently collected board games and made a donation to The Family Advocacy Center, part of the Highland County Department of Job and Family Services, a local family resource.
The primary service provided at the center is supervised visitation for children in care, but also for private situations. The site also serves as a safe exchange location.
Over the years, this facility has offered a variety of classes designed to facilitate reunification, strengthen family units, promote healthy home environments and teach self-sufficiency. Classes have evolved with identified community needs and service gaps.
The Hillsboro Rotary is proud to support this wonderful resource in our community.
