Hillsboro Police Report

The following is the Hillsboro Police Report for Aug. 30-31.

Dusty Oates, 37, of Hillsboro was arrested for failure to appear on a bench warrant and obstructing official business

Austin Moore, 20, of Hillsboro was arrested for OVI, underage consumption and driving under suspension.

Mark White, 62, of Hillsboro was arrested for telecommunication harassment

Olivia Dornbusch, 23, of Sardinia was cited for speed.

Tyler Welch, 30, of Hillsboro was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

On Aug. 31 at approximately 4:11p.m., the Hillsboro Police Department responded to the area of North High Street at Fenner Avenue for a report of a two-car crash. Upon arrival, a juvenile from Hillsboro as well as Deanna Harless, 64, of Hillsboro were both traveling southbound on North High Street near Fenner Avenue. Harless was stopped in traffic when the juvenile allegedly struck Harless in a rear-end type collision. No injuries were reported on scene. The juvenile was cited for assured clear distance ahead.
