The Hillsboro Indians hosted their final scrimmage of the 2023 football preseason as they faced Benjamin Logan at Richards Memorial Field.

HHS scored touchdowns on their first two possessions as Jeven Hochstuhl rushed for a touchdown on their first play of the game, a 80-yard run to the end zone. On their second drive it took only three plays for Hillsboro to reach the end zone.

That second drive saw Austin Barrett make a long run close to the goal line, and he eventually battled his way to the end zone for the short-yardage touchdown.

The Indians open the 2023 season at home on Friday, Aug. 18 against the visiting Western Brown Broncos, with a scheduled 7 p.m. kickoff.
