Helen Ford
Helen Ford, 92, of Hillsboro, passed away Monday, July 10, 2023.
She was born May 13, 1931 in Hillsboro, the daughter of the late James Henry Head and Helen Rogers.
Helen was a member of the Hillsboro Global Methodist Church, taught for over 40 years at Hillsboro City Schools and Corinth City Schools in Mississippi and was a member of the Hillsboro Women’s Club, the Highland County Historical Society, DAR and Samaritan Outreach.
Helen is survived by her sons, Mick (Sandy) Ford of Hillsboro and Mark (Joyce) Ford of Hillsboro; daughter, Melanie (Grant) Brose of Corinth, Miss.; grandchildren, Christopher Ford, Todd (Amy) Ford, Megan (Josh) Walker, Meri (Kyle) Donovan and Graham Brose; great-grandchildren, Adeana and Adler Eubanks, Alex and Aiden Ford and Emery and Everett Donovan; sister, Marilyn (Bill) Atsalis of Hobe Sound, Fla.; nephews, Tom Atsalis and Dave (Alma) Atsalis; several great-nieces and great-nephews; and a host of friends.
Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Jim Ford; son, Bruce Ford; great-grandson, Andrew Michael Ford; and stepmother, Jean Head.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, July 18, 2023 at 11 a.m. at the Hillsboro Global Methodist Church.
Friends may call Monday, July 17, 2023 from 4-8 p.m. at the church.
