Winter weather advisory issued
The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for Highland and surrounding counties from 7 p.m. this evening until 7 a.m. Saturday.
Total snow accumulations of one to three inches is possible. Plan on slippery road conditions.

Tonight - Snow before 3am, then a slight chance of snow showers after 4am. Low around 30. Southwest wind 7 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.
Saturday – A chance of snow showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 35. West wind 9 to 13 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
