Wilmington man charged with strangulation, endangering children

Kevin N. Snarr, 57, of Wilmington has been indicted by a Clinton County grand jury on charges of domestic violence, strangulation and endangering children, following an investigation conducted by the Wilmington Police Department - Detective Division. 

The case was presented to the Clinton County Prosecutor’s Office for review. After a comprehensive investigation, the matter was brought before the grand jury, resulting in a formal indictment.

The indictment includes two counts of strangulation, a third-degree and fourth-degree felony; two counts of endangering children, a third-degree felony and a first-degree misdemeanor; and one count of domestic violence, a first-degree misdemeanor.

At this time, the case remains pending in Clinton County Common Pleas Court. The accused is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.

No further information will be released at this time to protect the integrity of the ongoing judicial process.
