U.S. Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) announced today that he is endorsing Ohio Treasurer Josh Mandel’s 2018 campaign for U.S. Senate in Ohio.
“Josh Mandel is always the first to fight when it comes to defending conservative principles, like lowering taxes and creating a more transparent government for the people of Ohio,” said Senator Rubio.
“He is also the only candidate who can unify the Republican Party in Ohio to win the seat from the Democrats and send a strong message to any obstructionists who would stand in the way of the sea change underway in Washington.”
Josh Mandel announced today that he will run for U.S. Senate in 2018 upon completion of his second term as Treasurer of Ohio, where he was elected in 2010. Josh is a Marine Corps veteran who served two tours in Iraq, and has a long record as a principled conservative fighter.
In Ohio, Josh fought against ObamaCare expansion, successfully led efforts to lower taxes, and made Ohio’s state government spending the most transparent in the nation. For more information on Josh Mandel visit: joshmandel.com.
