Reception for Shane Wilkin June 19 at Administration Building

Highland County Commissioners Jeff Duncan and Terry Britton have announced that there will be a reception in honor of Commission President Shane Wilkin from 2-4 p.m. Tuesday, June 19 in the downstairs meeting room at the Highland County Administration Building.

Wilkin will be sworn in June 20 as a state representative in Ohio’s 91st House District.

Duncan and Britton invite the community to a small reception for Wilkin and to thank him for his years of service to Highland County.

"Please stop in and wish Shane well as he moves on to Columbus to serve the district," Duncan and Britton said in a news release Monday.

Wilkin defeated Beth Ellis in the Republican primary election. He will fill the seat formerly held by Cliff Rosenberger who resigned this year amid an FBI investigation.
