U.S. Energy Secretary Rick Perry has canceled today's visit to the cleanup site of the Portsmouth Gaseous Diffusion Plant in Piketon.
Perry said he had to be at a Cabinet meeting today and hoped to reschedule the visit.
Second District Rep. Brad Wenstrup and Ohio's U.S. senators Rob Portman and Sherrod Brown had invited Perry to visit the Piketon facility.

Prior to joining the Trump administration, Perry served as the 47th governor of Texas.
