Ohio State Highway Patrol plans OVI checkpoint

By
Ohio State Highway Patrol, Press Release

The Lebanon Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol announced Monday that troopers, deputies, and officers will conduct an OVI checkpoint this week to deter and intercept impaired drivers.

The county in which the checkpoint will be conducted will be announced the day prior to the checkpoint. The exact location of the checkpoint will be announced the morning of the checkpoint.

If you plan to consume alcohol, designate a sober driver or make other travel arrangements before you drink. Don’t let another life be lost on Ohio’s roadways for the senseless and selfish act of driving while impaired on drugs or alcohol.

Operational support for the sobriety checkpoint will be provided by local law enforcement agencies.
