Lions charter new club in Mowrystown

A new Lions Club comes to Mowrystown on Aug. 9 when a growing number of men and women celebrate the charter night of the Mowrystown Lions Club at the Whiteoak High School gym.

The celebration will begin with hospitality at 6 p.m. and dinner at 7 p.m.

During ceremonies, Past International Director Jerry Smith will present the members of the new club with their official charter.

All charter members will sign this historical document that evening.
