The Faith and Light Mennonite Girl’s Chorus will be sharing their gospel message in song at the Leesburg Friends Church Sunday, April 8 at 10 a.m. The girls sing in close, a cappella, three-part harmony as they enjoy sharing the gospel in music with their audiences.

The Leesburg Friends Church began in the early 1800s as the Leesburg Fairfield Meeting near the time the village of Leesburg was founded. The congregation met at the old meeting house location that is still standing near where the new Leesburg Fairfield Schools are located today.

In 1912, the congregation built the present church building in which the congregation worships and where the Girl’s Chorus will be appearing April 8.

Pastor John Fitzgerald invites the public to hear these gospel singers.
