The OSBA Leadership Academy is designed to nurture and prepare lawyers for effective leadership in the association, the legal profession and their communities. The interactive training program is conducted during a five-month period in six sessions during which participants interact with a diverse group of seasoned attorneys and other professionals, learning about topics such as civility, ethics, branding and thought leadership.

The Leadership Academy is limited to 24 lawyers annually who have practiced law between one and 10 years. Attorneys are selected based on their stated commitment to the goals of the academy, a demonstrated history of interaction with the legal and civic communities and diversity.
