Husted, Pence highlight oil and gas industry accomplishments

Lt. Governor Jon Husted highlighted the surge in Ohio oil and gas production in recent years at the Ohio Oil and Gas Association Annual Meeting Friday.

Husted announced new data from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources showing that Ohio oil production grew by 38.5 percent in the last year, and natural gas production grew by 32 percent.

Husted also introduced Vice President Mike Pence, who thanked oil and gas producers for their continued innovation in production of vital U.S. resources.
