Husted, Ashenhurst honor Preble County veterans

Lt. Governor Jon Husted, along with Ohio Department of Veterans Services Director Maj. Gen. Deborah Ashenhurst delivered remarks to a group of 58 veterans from Preble County Thursday morning, who are on their way to Washington D.C. on a bus tour.

The two thanked the veterans for their service and wished them safe travels to the nation's capital. 

The group was comprised of soldiers who served during the Vietnam, Afghanistan and Persian Gulf wars, as well as during peacetime.
