Hillsboro Police Report

On June 16, Larry Mullins of Columbus, driving a 2000 Chrysler, was westbound on Belfast Pike in the area of Johnson Street when a deer ran into the path of his vehicle. Mullins swerved and ran off the left side of the road, striking the end of a guard rail. The vehicle received heavy damage.

Walter Fawley of Hillsboro, driving a 2002 Chevrolet was backing from a parking space at 943 West Main Street and struck a 2000 Chevrolet driven by Ernest Williamson of Peebles. Both vehicle received light damage.


[[In-content Ad]]Cordelia Shiveley of Peebles, driving a 1996 Ford was entering Careytown Road from Walmart and struck a southbound 2008 Chevrolet that was being driven by John Willey of Hillsboro. Shiveley was cited for failure to yield.

David Hines of Hillsboro reported that someone had removed the copper pipe and wiring from the basement of his residence.

Tommie Knisley, 26, of Chillicothe, was arrested for public intoxication.
