Hillsboro Police Report

The following is the Hillsboro Police Report for Aug. 24-25.

Aug. 24

Olivia Rask, 40, of Hillsboro was cited for speed.

Aug. 25

Jared Hill, 31, of Hillsboro was arrested on an outstanding warrant. 

On Aug. 25 at approximately 11:17 a.m., the Hillsboro Police Department responded to the 1000 block of North High Street for a report of a two-car crash. Upon arrival, Kaleb Ratliff, 18, of Hillsboro was traveling northbound on North High Street. Dannie Morgan Jr., 54, of Hillsboro was traveling southbound in the same area when the front driver side wheel of Ratliff’s vehicle came off while in transit. As a result, the wheel struck the front bumper of Morgans vehicle, causing damage to both vehicles. No injuries were reported. Ratliff was cited for unsafe vehicle.
