Hillsboro Police Report
The following is the Hillsboro Police Report for Jan. 11-13.
Jan. 11
Christopher Grzejka, 40, of Hillsboro was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
Emily Kidd, 21, of Hillsboro was cited for no driver’s license.
On Jan. 11 at 4 p.m., the Hillsboro Police Department responded to the 1400 block of North High Street for a domestic complaint. After further investigation, Larry Parsley III, 20, of Hillsboro was arrested for domestic violence and transported to the Highland County Justice Center.
Jan. 13
Brandi Nichols, 30, of Lynchburg was cited for no driver’s license.
Lawrence Dotson, 72, of Seaman was cited for speed.
Gary Paetzel, 55, of Hillsboro was cited for speed.
On Jan. 12 at approximately 9:37 p.m., the Hillsboro Police Department responded to the intersection of East Main Street at East Street for a report of a two-car crash. Upon arrival, Aneisha Scott, 22, of Hillsboro was traveling eastbound on E. Main St. near N. East Street while a juvenile of Hillsboro was traveling southbound on N. East Street. Both units traveled through the intersection at the same time, causing a property damage collision. No injuries were reported on scene.
On Jan. 13 at approximately 2:46 p.m., the Hillsboro Police Department responded to the 1200 block of North High Street for a report of a two-car crash. Upon arrival, Tyler Johnson, 23, of Leesburg and Rita Wilson, 78, of Hillsboro were both traveling southbound on North High Street. Wilson was stopped in traffic when Johnson allegedly failed to maintain assured clear distance ahead, allegedly causing Johnson to strike Wilson in a rear-end type collision. No injuries were reported on scene. Johnson was cited for assured clear distance ahead.
On Jan. 13 at approximately 6:15 p.m., the Hillsboro Police Department received a call of a two-car crash in the 100 block of North High Street. Upon arrival, Hunter Shriver, 20, of Malta, Ohio was sitting in traffic in the 100 block of N. High St. when Ruth Moore, 77, of Lynchburg was backing out of a parking space. Moore allegedly backed into Shriver’s vehicle, causing minor damage. No injuries were reported on scene. Moore was cited for improper starting and backing.
