The following is the Hillsboro Police Report for Jan. 4.

Patrick Shorten, 40, of Springfield was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

Dustin Francis, 37, of Hillsboro was cited for driving under suspension.

On Jan. 4th at approximately 6:52 a.m., the Hillsboro Police Department responded to a business in the 300 block of North High Street in reference to a male trespassing. It was alleged the male was on the property and was told to leave and was refusing. Upon arrival, officers identified the male as Jason Huffer, 39, of Greenfield. Huffer was arrested for criminal trespassing and was transported to the Highland County Justice Center.

On Jan. 4 at approximately 3:14 p.m., the Hillsboro Police Department responded to the 100 block of East Main Street for a report of property damage. After further investigation, Jeremy Johnson, 50, of Hillsboro was arrested for criminal damaging and transported to the Highland County Justice Center.

On Jan. 4 at approximately 6:29 p.m., the Hillsboro Police Department received a call from a business in the 1400 block of North High Street in reference to a male there allegedly making threats. Officers responded and took Jason Huffer, 39, of Greenfield into custody. Huffer was charged with criminal trespassing and menacing and was transported to the Highland County Justice Center.
