Hillsboro Police Report
The following is the Hillsboro Police Report for April 12-13.
On April 12 at 8:23 p.m., the Hillsboro Police Department received a call from a resident in the 100 block of W. Pleasant Street. The caller stated that a male allegedly drove to their residence, was being disorderly and made threats of harm. The male left the scene when he was told they were calling the police. Officers later located the suspect in question, driving in the 100 block of W. Pleasant Street, at 9:56 p.m. Charles Pennington was arrested for aggravated menacing and OVI. Pennington was transported to the Highland County Jail.
Neal Lowman, 30, of Hillsboro was arrested for failure to appear on a bench warrant.
Amy Evers, 38, of Hillsboro was cited for driving under suspension.
On April 13 at approximately 11:04 a.m., the Hillsboro Police Department responded to the area of West Main Street and South High Street for a report of a two-car crash. Upon arrival, Jacob Pinkerton, 30, of Hillsboro was stopped at a light on West Main Street at the South High Street intersection preparing to make a right turn. Linda Pinkerton, 69, of New Vienna was stopped behind Jacob Pinkerton. Linda Pinkerton proceeded forward and allegedly struck Jacob Pinkerton in a rear-end type collision. Linda Pinkerton was cited for assured clear distance ahead. No injuries were reported on scene.
On April 13 at approximately 12:03 a.m., the Hillsboro Police Department received a call advising there was a male subject passed out in a vehicle at a business in the 100 block of East Main Street. Upon arrival, officers made contact with a William Willey, 30, of Hillsboro. After further investigation, Willey was arrested for possessing drug abuse instruments and transported to the Highland County Justice Center.
Tyler Yoakum, 28, of Hillsboro was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
