Highland County Sheriff's Report

These incidents have been reported by the HCSO.

Oct. 14
 
A resident of the 6600 block of Pirate Cove Court reported a female on the property refusing to leave. After investigation, Evelyn J. Doughman, 44, of Martinsville was arrested and charged with menacing.

Oct. 15

Deputies responded to the 5200 block of Anderson Road after a call of a reckless driver. After investigation, it was determined that the driver had pulled off of the roadway. The driver was transported to Highland District Hospital by Lynchburg EMS for observation, no citation issued.
