Highland County Sheriff’s Report

These incidents have been reported by the HCSO.

Oct. 6

Deputies responded to the 200 block of Sycamore St., Lynchburg, after a report of a disturbance. After investigation, parties agreed to separate; charges were declined.

Deputies were dispatched to the Rocky Fork Campground after a report of a disturbance. After investigation, Pamela R. Faulkner, 48, of Wilmington, was charged with disorderly conduct.

Deputies responded to assist in a pursuit initiated by a Greenfield Police Department officer that had reached Paint Twp. The pursuit ended in the 6600 block of Pirate Cove where Travis L. Jones, 40, of Hillsboro was taken into custody and charged with failure to comply, drug paraphernalia, obstructing official business, and driving under suspension. Jones also had several  outstanding warrants through Highland County courts.
