 Highland County Sheriff’s Report

A deputy responded to the 5200 block of Anderson Road after a report of a prowler. After investigation, the complaint was unfounded.

A resident of the 4500 block of Mt. Zion Road reported harassment.

Deputies responded to the 10000 block of state Route 28 to a report of an unruly juvenile. After investigation, the parent declined charges.

A Cincinnati resident reported the theft of a firearm while camping in the 5000 block of Carmel Rd. This incident remains under investigation.

Aug. 27

A resident of Water Street in Sinking Spring reported a domestic disturbance. After investigation, Charles R. Gorman Jr, 46, of Sinking Spring was charged with domestic violence.

A deputy responded to a report of a juvenile making threats. After investigation, school resource officers at Lynchburg-Clay Middle School secured the juvenile until deputies arrived. The juvenile was charged with aggravated menacing and transported to juvenile detention.
