Highland County Sheriff’s Report

These incidents have been reported by the HCSO.

Aug. 18 
A resident of the 12000 block of Petersburg Road advised their vehicle was vandalized.
A deputy responded to the 11000 block of Maple Trail after a report of breaking and entering and vandalism. Charges are currently pending for several juveniles who admitted being involved.

A resident of the 800 block of state Route 134 reported a domestic dispute. After investigation, it was determined a male at the residence had several warrants from Butler County. Donald J. Catlett, 36, of Sardinia was arrested and transported to the Highland County Justice Center.

Deputies responded to a report of a domestic dispute in the 900 block of State Route 134. After investigation, Kurtis W. Harbottle, 43, of Sardinia was arrested and charged with unlawful restraint.

Aug. 19
 
A deputy responded to the 4500 block of state Route 247 after a report of a female being assaulted. After investigation, Robert W. Gibson, 57, of Hillsboro was arrested and charged with menacing, assault, and criminal damaging.

Aug. 20

A deputy responded to the 6500 block of Wizard of Oz Way after a report of an assault on a utility worker. After investigation, Timothy W. Young, 54, of Hillsboro was charged with assault.

David W. Everhart, 52, of Leesburg, failure to appear.
James J. Whealdon, 24, of Pleasant City, speed.
Cheyenne M. Collett, 26, of Hillsboro, burglary, disorderly conduct.
Travis D. Stanton, 28, of Russellville, driving under suspension.
