Heavy rains flood North High Street

Heavy rains on Friday, June 23 caused widespread problems for area motorists, including at a section of North High Street near Southern State Community College.

Following an afternoon of heavy rains across the southern Ohio region, the weekend weather is expected to be just about perfect with sunny skies and a high near 79 on Saturday and 77 on Sunday.

Monday – Mostly sunny, with a high near 73. West wind 6 to 10 mph, with a low around 53.

Tuesday – Mostly sunny, with a high near 74 and a low around 55.

Wednesday – Sunny, with a high near 80 and a low around 62.

Thursday – Mostly sunny, with a high near 82.

Thursday night – A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 66. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
