July 26th, 2026
Offenses/Incidents
At 12:46 A.M., a caller in the 600 block of South Washington Street reported a domestic complaint. All parties were separated.
At 3:25 A.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop on Jefferson Street near 7th Street. The driver was warned for illumination of the rear license plate and minor's curfew.
At 3:40 A.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 200 block of North Washington Street. The driver was warned for illumination of the rear license plate.
At 3:42 A.M., a caller in the 500 block of McKell Avenue requested EMS for a 16-year-old male. Paint Creek Fire/EMS responded.
At 11:43 A.M., the Highland County Sheriff's Office advised Paint Creek Fire/EMS was enroute to a residence in the 500 block of North 4th Street for a 12-year-old experiencing difficulty breathing and no adult at the residence. The juvenile was transported to the Adena Greenfield ER.
At 1:19 P.M., an individual requested a welfare check on residents in the 1000 block of South 5th Street. It was discovered that the residents were not home.
At 1:50 P.M., a caller reported a parking complaint in the 400 block of North 6th Street.
At 6:42 P.M., a caller reported a male attempting to enter vehicles approaching the intersection of South Street and South Washington Street. An officer patrolled the area.
At 6:48 P.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 100 block of South 2nd Street. The driver, Lowell Riffle, 51, of Greenfield, was cited for driving under suspension. Bobbie Riffle, 49, of Greenfield, was cited for wrongful entrustment.
At 7:59 P.M., while on patrol in the 600 block of Spring Street, an officer located a downed tree blocking the roadway. A short time later the roadway was cleared by Street Department workers.
At 9:06 P.M., a Street Department employee reported multiple juveniles trespassing at the Water Department, walking on the railroad tracks. The juveniles were advised accordingly.
At 11:52 P.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop on South 5th Street near Dickey Avenue. The driver was warned for a moving violation.

Lowell Riffle, 51, of Greenfield, was cited for driving under suspension.
Bobbie Riffle, 49, of Greenfield, was cited for wrongful entrustment.

At 6:11 A.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 500 block of South Street. The driver was warned for a stop sign violation.
At 6:31 A.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop on Mirabeau Street near South Washington Street. The driver was warned for a stop sign violation.
At 6:52 A.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop on S.R. 28 near Thrifton Road. The driver was warned for speed.
At 1:23 P.M., the Anderson-Ebright Funeral Home requested assistance with a funeral procession. Assistance was given.
At 1:24 P.M., Joe's Party Shop reported a fraudulent check. This incident remains under investigation.
At 1:55 P.M., officers conducted a warrant service in the 100 block of North 5th Street. Jeremy Faulconer, 49 of Greenfield, was arrested on a failure to appear warrant out of the Ross County Sheriff's Office.
At 2:26 P.M., Children Protective Services requested assistance at a residence in the 300 block of South Washington Street. Assistance was given.
At 2:57 P.M., a caller reported an open door of a residence in the 500 block of Boyd Avenue. The residence was cleared and secured.
At 5:15 P.M., a caller requested extra patrol for the school campus.
At 6:25 P.M., the Highland County Sheriff's Office requested an officer to patrol the 700 block for a report of trespassing. An officer patrolled the area.
At 6:29 P.M., a caller reported a downed tree blocking the roadway in the 700 block of South 2nd Street.
At 8:14 P.M., a resident in the 800 block of South Street reported downed electrical wires. AES was advised.
At 9:08 P.M., a resident in the 600 block of Spring Street reported suspicious vehicles.
At 9:21 P.M., the Highland County Sheriff's Office advised Paint Creek Fire/EMS was enroute to residence in the 300 block of North Washington Street for a possible non-breather. A male was transported to the Adena Greenfield ER.
At 10:15 P.M., a caller in the 1000 block of South 5th Street reported threats/harassment. This incident remains under investigation.
At 10:19 P.M., a caller reported a silver Subaru Outback swerving on Jefferson Street, then crossed into Ross County. The Ross County Sheriff's Office was advised.
At 10:26 P.M., a caller in the 1000 block of South 5th Street reported threats/harassment. This incident remains under investigation.

Justin Jennings, 33, of Frankfort, was arrested on a warrant for abandoning animals and depriving animals.

At 12:25 A.M., a resident in the 1000 block of South 5th Street reported a group of individuals believed to be intoxicated, left the area in red Chrysler believed to be headed to Flagway. An officer patrolled the area.
At 4:00 A.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 200 block of Jefferson Street. The driver was warned for taillights.
At 6:48 A.M., an officer located an unoccupied vehicle parked at Mitchell's Park.
At 9:31 A.M., a resident in the 1000 block of South 5th Street for a custody exchange.
At 11:26 A.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 400 block of Jefferson Street. The driver was warned for failure to signal.
At 4:57 P.M., Children Protective Services reported a sex offense. After investigation, Amy Seymour, 22, of Hillsboro, was arrested for engaging in prostitution. Jason Davis Jr., 29, of Greenfield, was arrested for engaging in prostitution and driving under suspension. Desiree Davis, 23, of Laurelville, was arrested for engaging in prostitution.
At 7:03 P.M., a caller reported drag racing on South Washington Street near the bike path. An officer patrolled the area.
At 10:35 P.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 800 block of Jefferson Street. The driver was warned for expired registration.
At 10:59 P.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop on North Washington Street near Jefferson Street. The driver was warned for headlights required and illumination of the rear license plate.

At 10:23 A.M., a resident in the 300 block of McClain Avenue requested a welfare check. Paint Creek Fire/EMS was requested to the scene and transported a female to the Adena Greenfield ER.
At 1:24 P.M., a caller requested a welfare check on residents in the 600 block of South Washington Street.
At 1:41 P.M., a caller near Community Markets reported found wallet with contents.
At 2:06 P.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop on S.R. 28 near Thrifton Road. The driver, Walker Riffle, 28, of Bainbridge, was cited for driving under suspension.
At 2:27 P.M., the Murray Fettro Funeral Home request assistance with a funeral procession. Assistance was given.
At 3:10 P.M., the Highland County Sheriff's Office advised of a 911-transfer from a resident in the 100 block of North 2nd Street reporting a property damage hit-skip. This incident remains under investigation.
At 3:15 P.M., while on patrol near the 300 block of McClain Avenue and officer located an intoxicated 16-year-old female in the street. 16-year-old female, of Greenfield, was arrested for persistent disorderly conduct, obstruction, and assault on a peace officer.
At 6:14 P.M., a caller reported a trash complaint in the 200 block of North Washington Street. This incident remains under investigation.
At 7:01 P.M., a caller in the 400 block of Jefferson Street requested assistance unlocking their vehicle. Entry was gained.
At 10:03 P.M., an officer conducted a security check at Mitchell's Park. Individuals at the pond were advised to leave and of park hours.
At 10:16 P.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 200 block of Jefferson Street. The driver was warned for headlights required.
At 10:22 P.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 300 block of North Street. The driver was warned for headlights required.

At 11:29 P.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 800 block of Mirabeau Street. The driver was warned for illumination of the rear license plate.

At 7:13 A.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 300 block of South Street. The driver was warned for a stop sign violation and expired registration.
At 9:03 A.M., a resident in the 400 block of Evans Street reported a juvenile complaint.
At 9:07 A.M., the Jefferson Street Business Center reported a male sleeping in a vehicle. The male was advised to move along.
At 11:30 A.M., the Washington Court House Police Department requested an officer to deliver a message to a resident in the 500 block of Baltimore Avenue.
At 12:00 P.M., a caller in the 800 block of North Street reported a domestic complaint. Everyone checked ok.
At 1:44 P.M., officers conducted a warrant service at a residence in the 900 block of Jefferson Street. Zachary Orner, 46, of Greenfield, was arrested on a warrant out of Columbus Ohio State Highway Patrol for failure to appear on telephone harassment.
At 2:20 P.M., Integrity Recovery reported a vehicle repossession from a residence in the 400 block of Beatty Street.
At 3:40 P.M., Priest's BBQ reported a known male trespassing on the property.
At 4:02 P.M., a caller reported a Honda with young juveniles traveling at a high rate of speed on South Street.
At 5:40 P.M., the Highland County Sheriff's Office advised of a 911-open line from a residence in the 400 block of Evans Street. It was discovered to be accidental.
At 6:04 P.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop on Nellie Street. The driver, Tristin Nelson, 27, of New Albany, was cited for driving under suspension and expired registration.
At 6:08 P.M., Pax Peak Auto Towing reported a vehicle repossession from a residence in the 500 block of Spring Street.
At 7:11 P.M., Children Protective Services requested assistance at a residence in the 400 block of South 4th Street. Assistance was given.
At 8:37 P.M., a caller at Flagway 16 reported a known male on a bicycle believed to be extremely intoxicated. The caller advised the male then left and headed towards Greenhills Drive. Officers located the male and checked his welfare.
At 10:51 P.M., while on patrol at Mitchell's Park an officer located individuals at the pond. They were advised accordingly.
At 11:13 P.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop on South 7th Street near Dairy Nook. The driver was warned for failure to signal.
At 11:27 P.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop on North Washington Street near Lafayette Street. The driver was warned for headlights required.
At 11:44 P.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 400 block of Jefferson Street. The driver was warned for a license plate.

At 6:16 A.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 100 block of South Washington Street. The driver was warned for headlights required, illumination of the rear license plate, and failure to signal.
At 6:47 A.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop on S.R. 41 near the railroad tracks. The driver was warned for speed.
At 9:21 A.M., the Highland County Sheriff's Office advised of an elevator alarm at McClain High School and Paint Creek Fire/EMS was enroute. School later advised they were testing the alarm.
At 9:32 A.M., a resident in the 400 block of Evans Street reported a juvenile complaint.
At 9:39 A.M., Children Protective Services requested assistance at a residence in the 600 block of South Washington Street. Assistance was given.
At 10:48 A.M., a caller in the 900 block of South Street reported a K9 had almost bitten them. After investigation, Stacy Bellinger, 53, of Greenfield was, cited for nuisance dog.
At 1:44 A.M., an individual reported threats/harassment.
At 2:57 P.M., a resident in the 200 block of S.R. 28 East requested an EMS. The Highland County Sheriff's Office was advised.
At 5:08 P.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 100 block of Jefferson Street. The driver, Steven Williams, 32, of Greenfield, was cited for driving under suspension.
At 5:18 P.M., a resident in the 1000 block of North Washington Street reported a water/sewer complaint.
At 6:37 P.M., a resident in the 900 block of North Washington Street reported two known subjects trespassing on their property.
At 7:26 P.M., an individual reported threats/harassment.
At 7:40 P.M., a resident in the 13000 block of Hillcrest Drive reported a vehicle had drove into the pond at the corner of Lovers Lane and Hillcrest Drive. Officers primary responded, while a deputy from the Highland County Sheriff's Office was enroute. The Ohio State Highway Patrol later arrived on scene. Assistance was given.
At 8:22 P.M., a resident in the 400 block of North 2nd Street reported a disturbance.
At 8:43 P.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 300 block of Lafayette Street. The driver was warned for a stop bar violation.
At 9:13 P.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 400 block of Jefferson Street. The driver was warned for illumination of the rear license plate and a stop bar violation.
At 10:23 P.M., several callers reported a vehicle at McDonalds had driven over the retaining wall and stuck another vehicle in the parking lot at Flagway 12. Officers responded along with Paint Creek Fire/EMS.
At 11:14 P.M., Flagway 12 requested an officer to remove a male loitering at the establishment.
At 11:48 P.M., a caller reported a noise complaint in the 600 block of South Street.
