March 29th, 2026

Offenses/Incidents

At 12:07 A.M., Chillicothe Fire and Security advised of a commercial burglary alarm activation at the Greenfield Elementary School. The building was cleared.

At 12:54 A.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 200 block of Jefferson Street. The driver was warned for a headlight.

At 1:22 A.M., an officer initiated a traffic stop in the 100 block of South 2nd Street on a red, newer model, Toyota Corolla, displaying a partially defaced temporary tag. The vehicle fled from the officer and turned East onto Jefferson and crossed into Ross County. The vehicle continued on S. R. 28 and turned South onto Coyner Road. At this point the officer terminated the pursuit due to excessive speed.

At 1:49 A.M., ADT Security advised of a residential burglar alarm activation at a residence in the 600 block of Mirabeau Street. Upon arrival, officers located female who had fallen inside. Entry was made inside. Paint Creek Fire/EMS was summoned to the scene.

At 2:43 A.M., a resident in the 1100 block of Greenhills Drive reported a noise complaint.

At 5:45 A.M., an officer conducted a security check at Felson's Park.

At 2:56 P.M., a resident in the 100 block of Lafayette Street reported a parking complaint.

At 3:40 P.M., two individuals reported an assault. The Ross County Sheriff's Office and Children Protective Services was advised.

At 4:54 P.M., a caller requested a welfare check on a resident in the 600 block of Baltimore Avenue. The resident checked ok.

At 5:10 P.M., the Highland County Sheriff's Office advised of a male in the 500 block of Dickey Avenue threatening self-harm. Paint Creek Fire/EMS transported the male to the Adena Greenfield ER.

At 7:58 P.M., while on patrol in the 500 block of Dickey Avenue, an officer was flagged down by a male reporting an assault. Prosecution was declined.

At 7:59 P.M., a caller on Rapid Forge Road reported a silver Jeep with a black top driving recklessly, believed to be impaired. An officer patrolled the area.

At 10:04 P.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 200 block of North 5th Street. The driver was warned for a moving violation.

At 10:37 P.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 300 block of Jefferson Street. The driver was warned for no headlights.

At 2:40 A.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop at Mitchell's Park. The driver was warned for improper display of license plate.

At 2:54 A.M., an officer conducted a security check at Mitchell's Park.'

At 3:12 A.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 300 block of North Street. The driver was warned for illumination of the rear license plate.

At 3:42 A.M., J and G Towing reported a vehicle repossession from the 600 block of South Street.

At 5:00 A.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop on North Washington Street near Binegar's Camper Sales. The driver was warned for a headlight.

At 5:47 A.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 100 block of North McArthur Way. The driver was warned for a headlight.

At 6:26 A.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop on North Washington Street in front of the fire department. The driver was warned for a headlight.

At 6:53 A.M., the Highland County Sheriff's Office advised of multiple 911-hangups from a residence in the 300 block of Mirabeau Street. Upon arrival, a male advised his phone was malfunctioning and was accidental.

At 12:24 P.M., the Highland County Sheriff's Office advised of a 911-hangups int he 300 block of Lafayette Street. Everything checked ok.

At 1:46 P.M., a disabled vehicle was reported in the area of North 5th Street and McClain Avenue.

At 3:44 P.M., a resident in the 300 block of Mill Street reported threats/harassment. Investigation pending.

At 7:02 P.M., a caller reported two males trespassing on the bike path at South Washington Street. Contact was made with the males.

At 8:42 P.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 500 block of Jefferson Street. Melissa Willis 47, of Greenfield, was arrested on a warrant for assault.

At 9:19 P.M., a resident in the 300 block of McClain Avenue reported a juvenile complaint.

At 10:37 P.M., a caller reported a disturbance in the area of North Street and North 8th Street. An officer patrolled the area.

Arrests/Citations

Melissa Willis 47, of Greenfield, was arrested on a warrant for assault.

Offenses/Incidents

At 12:54 A.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop on Jefferson Street in front of Save A Lot. The driver was warned for failure to display.

At 3:19 A.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop on North 5th Street near Fayette Avenue. The driver was warned for failure to obey a traffic control device.

At 3:39 A.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 300 block of Jefferson Street. The driver was warned for speed.

At 3:47 A.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop on South Washington Street near Mirabeau Street. The driver was warned for failure to display.

At 4:53 A.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop on Jefferson Street near South 6th Street. The driver was warned for failure to obey a traffic control device.

At 5:43 A.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop on Jefferson Street near South 6th Street. The driver was warned for failure to obey a traffic control device.

At 9:19 A.M., a caller in the area of South Washington Street and the bike path reported a civil complaint.

At 9:32 A.M., Children Protective Services requested assistance at a residence in the 1000 block of McClain Avenue.

At 12:01 P.M., the Highland County Sheriff's Office requested an officer to respond to Cruz Thru for a female experiencing a possible medical emergency. Paint Creek Fire/EMS transported the female to the Adena Greenfield ER.

At 1:04 P.M., Village employees reported criminal damage to headstones at the Greenfield Cemetery.

At 4:43 P.M., officers conducted a warrant service at a residence in the 300 block of Mill Street. Charles Bender, 27, of Greenfield, was arrested on Fayette County warrants for violation of a protection order and intimidation of a victim.

At 6:34 P.M., a caller reported a disturbance in the area of South Washington Street and the bike path. An officer patrolled the area.

At 6:42 P.M., a caller requested a welfare check on residents in the 700 block of South Street. Everyone was advised accordingly.

At 7:24 P.M., a caller reported a disturbance in the 500 block of South Street. All parties were advised accordingly.

At 9:13 P.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 800 block of Jefferson Street. The driver was warned for a moving violation.

At 9:25 P.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 100 block of Jefferson Street. The driver was warned for an equipment violation.

At 9:54 P.M., a caller reported an intoxicated male with difficulty keeping his balance, near the Family Dollar. Officers located the male on North 4th Street near McClain Avenue. The male returned to his residence and was warned for disorderly conduct by intoxication.

At 10:16 P.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop on a bicyclist at Flagway 16. The bicyclist was warned for brake lights.

At 10:24 P.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 200 block of Jefferson Street. The driver was advised accordingly.

At 11:09 P.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 500 block of McClain Avenue. The driver was warned for an equipment violation.

At 11:26 P.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 200 block of Jefferson Street. The driver, Jonah Wilkins, 40, of Kentucky, was cited for expired registration.

April 1st, 2026

Offenses/Incidents

At 1:09 A.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop on South 7th Street near the bridge. The driver was advised accordingly.

At 2:08 A.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 600 block of Jefferson Street. The driver was warned for failure to obey a traffic control device.

At 6:40 A.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop at Corvac. The driver was warned for a headlight.

At 10:02 A.M., an officer warned a resident in the 300 block of North Street for a trash complaint.

At 10:13 A.M., an officer advised of an abandoned homeless camp in the area of South Washington Street and the bike path.

At 10:43 A.M, while on patrol near the 200 block of South 6th Street an officer observed a parked vehicle blocking the alleyway. The individual was advised accordingly.

At 11:07 A.M., a caller in the 200 block of Jefferson Street requested assistance unlocking their vehicle. Entry was gained.

At 11:26 A.M., the Highland County Sheriff's Office advised of a 911-hanup coming from the school campus. The SRO advised everything checked ok.

At 12:40 P.M., a caller reported two juveniles trespassing at a residence in the 600 block of Mirabeau. An officer patrolled the area.

At 3:06 P.M., Children Protective Services reported a sex offense in the 1000 block of South 5th Street. This incident remains under investigation.

At 7:04 P.M., the Highland County Sheriff's Office requested an officer to assist Paint Creek Fire/EMS at a residence in the 400 block of Lafayette. The female refused transport.

At 7:06 P.M., a resident in the 600 block of Dickey Avenue reported a male and female attempting to solicit. Caller advised the male had an odor of alcohol and was stumbling. An officer patrolled the area.

At 8:04 P.M., a resident in the 500 block of Spring Street requested extra patrol for the area.

At 10:23 P.M., a caller in the 800 block of North Street reported criminal mischief involving their vehicle.

At 11:09 P.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 900 block of Jefferson Street. The driver, Jacob Shanks, 26, of Waverly, was cited for stop bar violation.

Offenses/Incidents

At 4:53 A.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop at Priest's BBQ. The driver was warned for illumination of rear license plate.

At 5:15 A.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 400 block of Jefferson Street. The driver was warned for a headlight and no passenger side mirror.

At 5:32 A.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop on Lyndon Avenue near South 4th Street. The driver was warned for a headlight.

At 8:36 A.M., a resident in the 500 block of Boyd Avenue reported a suspicious male.

At 12:17 P.M., a caller at Reach for Tomorrow reported threats/harassment. The male was advised accordingly.

At 12:32 P.M., the Greenfield Postmaster reported an employee was bit by a dog at a residence in the 500 block of McKell Avenue. Prosecution was declined. The resident was advised accordingly.

At 12:39 P.M., a resident in the 900 block of McClain Avenue requested assistance unlocking their vehicle. The resident then advised to disregard.

At 4:30 P.M., two juveniles reported being assaulted by another juvenile in the 200 block of the Alleyway North of Jefferson Street. This incident remains under investigation.

At 7:21 P.M., Children Protective Services requested assistance at a residence in the 1000 block of McClain Avenue.

At 8:32 P.M., a caller reported a domestic complaint in the 600 block of South Washington Street. After investigation, Bradley Wright, 38, of Greenfield was arrested for disorderly conduct. Dakota Farmer, 31, of Greenfield, was arrested for disorderly conduct by intoxication.

At 10:40 P.M., the Highland County Sheriff's advised of numerous 911-hangups in the area of the 500 block of Pine Street. An officer patrolled the area.

Arrests/Citations

Bradley Wright, 38, of Greenfield was arrested for disorderly conduct.

Dakota Farmer, 31, of Greenfield, was arrested for disorderly conduct by intoxication.

April 3rd, 2026

Offenses/Incidents

At 2:55 P.M., a caller at the Dollar General reported a suspicious male. The male checked ok.

At 5:46 P.M., a caller in the 100 block of Pine Street reported a domestic complaint. After investigation, the parties checked ok and checked ok.

At 9:48 P.M., a caller in the 800 block of South Street reported damage to a vehicle, theft of money and a vehicle title. This incident remains under investigation.

Arrests/Citations

Christopher Billups, 40, of Columbus was arrested for violation of court orders.

April 4th, 2026

Offenses/Incidents

At 1:17 A.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop at Smitty's Auto Sales. The driver was warned for illumination of the rear license plate.

At 1:33 A.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop at Priest's BBQ. The driver was warned for display of license plate.

At 2:24 A.M., a resident in the 1200 block of Greenhill's Drive reported a noise complaint. 

At 2:43 A.M., while on patrol in the 500 block of McKell an officer located a vehicle in a driveway with its hazard lights activated. The officer made contact with the owner.

At 10:49 A.M., a caller in the 200 block of Jefferson Street reported being involved in a non-injury vehicle crash. 

At 2:36 P.M., a resident in the 600 block of Baltimore Avenue reported a disturbance. All parties were advised accordingly.

At 3:40 P.M., a resident in the 600 block of South Washington Street reported criminal damage to their vehicle. This incident remains under investigation.

At 4:43 P.M., a dispatcher observed a 4-wheeler commit a traffic offense, then parked at the Shell Gas Station. Officers advised the driver accordingly.

At 4:54 P.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop on Foraker Street near S. R. 138. The driver was warned for driving under suspension.

At 8:25 P.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 300 block of Jefferson Street. The driver was warned for an equipment violation.

At 10:19 P.M., the Highland County Sheriff's Office advised of a 911-transfer at Flagway 16 for an employee requesting assistance. Officers spoke with the employee who advised everything was ok.
