First State Bank signs lease for Fayetteville banking center

The executive team at First State Bank is pleased to announce that First State Bank signed a lease agreement today to open a banking office and take over the space located at 19575 U.S. Route 68 in Fayetteville. The office is located in the shopping plaza near Fayetteville-Perry Local Schools.
The lease agreement was signed by Mike Pell, President and CEO of First State Bank. Randy Carson, mayor of Fayetteville, Jim Brady, superintendent of Fayetteville-Perry Local Schools, and Jo Anna Carraher, treasurer of Fayetteville-Perry Local Schools, were also present, as they have been supportive in the efforts to keep a community bank in Fayetteville to serve local community members and businesses.
David Richey, First State Bank CFO, Shalana Shreffler, Human Resources Director, and Nick Brown, Regional Relationship Manager in Brown County were also present at the lease signing.
Pending regulatory approval, the team at First State Bank plans to open its doors to the Fayetteville community in early August.
“As a locally owned and operated community bank, Fayetteville is a great fit for us,” Pell said. “With our current locations in Mt. Orab and Hillsboro, we are excited to expand our banking center footprint and bring our customer-focused service to this community.”
“Having a financial institution in Fayetteville not only provides our local residents with banking convenience, it is an important component of our business community,” Carson said.
Carraher added: “We are thrilled to have First State Bank becoming part of our community. This is a great opportunity not only for our businesses and residents, but for those employed in Fayetteville.”
