United Producers, Inc. (UPI), the Midwest’s largest livestock marketing cooperative, is pleased to announce the hiring of Elizabeth Long as a regional credit officer. In her role, Long will directly support producers in Ohio and the Midwest with their farm financing, including livestock loans, real estate loans and crop loans.

“We are excited to welcome Elizabeth to our team,” said Vice President of Credit, Bob Siegel. “Given her extensive experience in agricultural lending and her deep understanding of today’s producers’ needs, we are confident she will be a valuable asset to grow our agricultural lending business.”

Long earned a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from The Ohio State University and brings to her new role 18 years of experience in agricultural lending across Ohio. She currently operates a freezer beef and pork business with her husband.

Additionally, Long serves as a board member of the Ohio FFA Foundation and the Logan County Chamber and is actively involved in the Logan County Leadership program and the Farm Women’s Symposium. Raised on a small family farm in Madison County, she was a proud participant in 4-H and FFA activities throughout her youth.

UPI serves 30,000 members in Ohio, Kentucky, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, and Tennessee, handling approximately 2.7 million head of livestock per year.
