A celebration of summer

Highland District Hospital staff, board members, volunteers and their families took part in the annual HDH Ice Cream Social held Monday, July 29, from 4 to 8 p.m.

In addition to the ice cream, hot dogs, chips and drinks were served as youngsters played in bounce houses, putt-putt golf, had their faces painted and enjoyed other fun activities on a gorgeous summer day.

“This is an opportunity for us to celebrate summer with staff, family and supporters,” HDH CEO Jim Baer said.

“It’s a chance to thank the employees for all of their hard work, along with the board, medical staff and volunteers for their support.”
