Car overturns on Folsom hill

A West Portsmouth man escaped serious injury Monday morning when his Chevrolet Cobalt overturned on state Route 247 at the base of Folsom hill in Washington Township.

The driver, who was alone in the vehicle, said he lost control after hitting some loose gravel near the berm. The car slid down the hill and then overturned.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol was on the scene and T & G Towing of Hillsboro was called to tow the disabled vehicle.
