Bridge replacement project under way on S.R. 138

Construction plans are under way for a bridge replacement project on state Route 138 in Highland County between Hillsboro and Greenfield.

The route will be closed to traffic this month.

Contractors for the Ohio Department of Transportation will be replacing the bridge situated over Clear Creek and located at the route’s 18.48-mile marker, which is immediately north of Selph Road, 1.5 miles north of Hillsboro.

Construction began Monday, March 11. Throughout the project, the route will be closed to traffic. Motorists will be detoured via U.S. Route 62 at Hillsboro and S.R. 28 at Greenfield.
