A Bainbridge man indicted earlier this year in connection with the Highland County Task Force’s “Operation Fetty Stop” drug investigation has been sentenced to four years in prison for trafficking meth.

Nathan Snodgrass, 48, was one of 19 individuals indicted in February as a result of ongoing work of the Highland County Task Force and all county law enforcement agencies to stop the trafficking and use of fentanyl in Highland County. He was indicted on three counts of aggravated trafficking in methamphetamine, two second-degree felonies and one third-degree felony; and three counts of aggravated possession of methamphetamine, two second-degree felonies and one third-degree felony.

According to court records, Snodgrass pleaded guilty April 25 to two counts of aggravated trafficking in methamphetamine, one second-degree and one third-degree felony. The remaining charges were dismissed.

For those two counts, the indictment alleged that on or about March 31, 2023, Snodgrass “did knowingly sell or offer to sell” meth “in an amount equal to or exceeding bulk amount but less than five times bulk amount.” On April 14, 2023, it was alleged that Snodgrass “did knowingly sell or offer to sell” meth “in an amount equal to or exceeding five times bulk amount but less than 50 times bulk amount.”

Highland County Common Pleas Court Judge Rocky Coss sentenced Snodgrass to 12 months on the third-degree felony charge, consecutive to three years on the second-degree felony count, for a total minimum of four years in prison. Under the Reagan Tokes Law, Snodgrass could serve up to five and a half years in prison. He had jail time credit of 70 days.

Snodgrass was additionally ordered to pay $560 in restitution to the Highland County Task Force, according to court records.
