3 women arrested in connection with ongoing investigation into West Portsmouth shooting
Scioto County Sheriff David Thoroughman stated that as a result of the ongoing investigation into a shooting that took place Dec. 28 in West Portsmouth, the case was presented to a Scioto County grand jury on Friday, Jan. 3.

The grand jury issued indictment warrants which added two counts of attempted murder, a felony of the first degree, on the male suspects and included new charges on three female suspects.
Detectives and deputies were able to track down and arrest two of the females in West Portsmouth. The third female was located in Portsmouth.
Sheriff Thoroughman stated that his detectives and deputies have been steadfast on this case, dedicating many hours to ensure the safety of all the residents in Washington Township and Scioto County.
Arrested were: Chloe Williams, 23, of West Portsmouth; Hayley Will, 26, of West Portsmouth; and Torrie Woodrow, 21, of Portsmouth.
These females were charged with two counts of complicity to attempted murder, a felony of the first degree; two counts of complicity to felonious assault, a felony of the second degree; and tampering with evidence, a felony of the third degree.
