Hazel Darlene Perkins

Hazel Darlene Perkins, 72, of Newark, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 26, 2023.

She was born Sept. 20, 1951 in Pike County, the daughter of the late Orville and Hazel (Jordan) Perkins.

Hazel is survived by her brother, James Perkins of Newark; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by her son, Clyde Edward Perkins; daughter, Dorothy Jean Perkins; six brothers, Paul Perkins, Wayne Perkins, Orville Perkins Jr., William Perkins, Tommy Lee Perkins and John Lewis; half-brother, Oscar Barnett; and six sisters, Dollie Potts, Josephine Blevins, Linda Williamson, Violet Mae Freeze, Shirley Ray East and Dorothy Jean Perkins.

Graveside services will be Friday, Sept. 29, 2023 at 1:30 p.m. at the Westwood Cemetery.

Friends may call Friday from 1 p.m. until time of graveside services at the Westwood Cemetery.
