Harold Ray Blanton

Harold Ray Blanton, 88, of Hillsboro, passed away peacefully Wednesday, July 19, 2023 at Heartland of Hillsboro. 

He was born March 5, 1935 in Lucasville, the son of the late Alvin and Gladys (Widdig) Blanton. 

Mr. Blanton honorably served his country in the United States Army and retired as a District Sales Manager with the Western-Southern Life Insurance Company after 30 years of service. He was a member of the Hillsboro Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #1161. 

He is survived by his daughter, Kelly Blanton of Clitheroe, England; three grandchildren, Daniel, Grace and Adam; and a brother, Charles Blanton of Lucasville.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Anita Kay Blanton, who passed away Aug. 24, 2018; and a brother, James Blanton. 

Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. There will be no public visitation.
