George Edward “Edmo” Seldon II
George Edward “Edmo” Seldon II, 58, of Greenfield, passed away Friday, Sept. 1, 2023 at Adena Greenfield Medical Center.
He was born Dec. 12, 1964 in Greenfield, the son of George Edward and Rebecca (Clemons) Seldon.
He was a former employee of Crestar in Washington C.H. and a 1983 graduate of E.L. McClain High School. He was an avid OSU Buckeye fan and enjoyed fishing, mushroom hunting and spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his mother, Rebecca Ford of Greenfield; brother, David (Sherry) Young of Hillsboro; sister, Cathy Seldon of Greenfield; stepbrother, David Ford of Columbus; stepsister, Renee Ford of Columbus; special sister-in-law, Madge McCoy of Greenfield; and nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Randy Seldon; and father, George Eward Seldon.
Cremation will take place, and a celebration of life will be Tuesday, Sept. 12 at 4 p.m. at Tree of Life Fellowship Church, 627 North Fourth St., Greenfield 45123. Rev. Ella Kolle and Rev. Patricia Burns will officiate. Food and fellowship will follow until 6 p.m. Burial of the cremains in the Greenfield Cemetery will be at the convenience of the family.
