Genevieve Hope Hilton

Genevieve Hope Hilton, 95, of Hillsboro, passed away Monday, July 17, 2023, at The Laurels of Hillsboro.

She was born Aug. 9, 1927 in Highland County, the daughter of the late Milton and Frances (Piggot) Caplinger.

Genevieve is survived by two children, Mary Frances Clements and James Milton Clements; seven grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter J. Hilton; a daughter, Jennie Lynn Stultz; a son, Richard Neal Clements; two brothers; and five sisters.

There will be no visitation. In keeping with Genevieve’s wishes, her body will be cremated. The Turner & Son Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the family.

Mary, So sorry to hear of mom's passing. She was a very pretty woman. I kind of thought she might not be doing well. Take care of yourself, as you have taken good care of her for many years.
