Gary W. Roberts

Gary W. Roberts, 67, of Chillicothe, passed away Monday, July 17, 2023 at his home.

He was born June 24, 1956 in Leesburg, a son of the late Edmund and Edith Cheek Roberts.

Gary was a 1974 graduate of Fairfield High School and worked as a truck driver for Stevens Pipe & Steel. He loved animals and cars, especially the 1969 Dodge Dart. Gary loved to spend time with his family.

On May 11, 2001, he married the former Gloria Cochran, who survives.

In addition to his wife, Gary is survived by one daughter, Brittany Roberts of Lehigh Acres, Fla.; two stepsons, Joshua Kibbey and Jeremy Kibbey of Highland; five grandchildren, Cerena, Ariel, Darcie, Matthew and Krystiana; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Maxine Winland of Greenfield and Shirley Montavon of Sabina; one brother, James Roberts of Frankfort; and several nieces and nephews.

Gary was preceded in death by one grandson; one sister, Helen Meredith; and four brothers, Melvin, Dean, John and David Roberts.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, July 22, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. in the Ebright Funeral Home, Frankfort. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort, with Chaplain Jeremy Beverly officiating. Friends are invited to visit with Gary's family at the funeral home Friday from 5-8 p.m.
