Frances Kay McComas

Frances Kay McComas, 76, of Hillsboro, passed away Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at her home surrounded by her family.

She was born Nov. 23, 1946 in Hillsboro, the daughter of the late Willis Earl and Emma Louise Miller Ferrell.

She is survived by her husband, Noel McComas, whom she had married Sept. 30, 1972; two children, Kelly (David) Wood of Wilmington and Bryan (Shelly) McComas of Hillsboro; three grandchildren, Nathan Wood, Colin Wood and Molly (Jimmy) Barnett; one great-grandson, Jaxson Barnett; two sisters, Aggie (Dave) Barker of Chillicothe and Lois (Eddie) Montgomery of Greenfield; and two brothers, James Ferrell and Mike Ferrell of Hillsboro.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Brad McComas.

Family and friends are invited to attend visitation Monday, June 26 from 5-7 p.m. at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
