On March 22, the McClain FFA officer team decided to put on the first annual soup and sandwich social to help celebrate National Agriculture Week.

The officer team wanted to show teachers in the Greenfield Exempted Village School District their appreciation. So, during the districtwide parent-teacher conference evening, the chapter offered dinner to teachers working late. Staff members were given a grilled cheese sandwich and a choice between several different soups.

Eight officers served over 100 teachers in two and a half hours.
