Hillsboro Great Oaks FFA members take the Grain Merchandising Exam

Several of our members took the Grain Merchandising CDE online exam. Our top four members were Kenny Shawhan, Claire Winkle, Brayden Cummings and Lily Fugate. 

These members were tested on when to sell the grain crop for the highest profits, grain quality, finding field yields at harvest, and how to store grain. The team placed 23rd in the state and Kenny was 62nd overall individual.
