Hillsboro Great Oaks FFA enjoys OSU hockey game

On Feb. 27, Hillsboro Great Oaks FFA had 39 members attended the Ohio State vs. Michigan hockey game at the Schottenstein Center.
Prior to the start of the game, we toured the Waterman Agricultural and Natural Resources Laboratory. We were able to see the behind the scenes of several ways of crop production. We learned their process of growing multiple different kinds of crops, including tomatoes, strawberries and lettuce.
After that, we toured the Ohio State Ag Campus, and we were shown where the classes take place and the different majors you can choose if you were to attend that college.
We headed to El Vaquero for dinner, and from there we went to the hockey game. The members cheered on the Buckeyes as they brought home a win and enjoyed a great night full of fun.
