On Tuesday, Feb. 11, members of the Hillsboro Great Oaks FFA Chapter traveled to Ross High School to compete in the District Ag Sales contest.
The Ag Sales contest consists of two parts: a team portion where the team simulates preparation for a sales call, and then goes into an individual sales call where they are one-on-one with a potential buyer. This year, the participants had to sell John Deere lawn mowers and accessories.
The team placed fourth. Carter Boyd was the runner-up individual, and Corbin Winkle was the high individual, achieving a perfect score on his sales call.
We are so proud of our participants.
