The Hillsboro Great Oaks FFA Chapter and many other chapters in Ohio recently traveled to Columbus to attend the 97th annual State FFA Convention.

The convention celebrates the achievements of all of Ohio's members and chapters.

This year, the Hillsboro Great Oaks FFA Chapter was recognized for its charitable giving during the Convention. To be recognized, chapters must give more than $500 within the 2024-25 school year.

The chapter raised money during the Highland County Hoedown to give to a chapter member in need, they gave money during the Ernie Blankenship Telethon, and went shopping for families in need during Christmas.

Aaron Hatter walked across the stage to represent us while receiving the award.
