Hillsboro FFA members attend Food Science CDE Contest

Hillsboro Great Oaks FFA Chapter

On Jan. 12, members of the Hillsboro Great Oaks FFA Chapter went to Talawanda to compete in the District Food Science CDE. Here, these students demonstrated their knowledge of food and workplace safety and used their senses to distinguish different foods and scents. Our members studied hard and their work paid off. 

The team as a whole came in third place at the competition and member Adalyn Gaines got first place individually and went on to represent the Chapter at the State level. She proceeded to place sixth in the state. Great job to the team and congratulations Adalyn.
